How is RetireMint funded?
By working together for the last eight decades, participating employers and employees have contributed to the RetireMint Plan’s trust fund, which as of April 2024, has $3.4 billion in assets. Nearly 300 co-ops and more than 15,000 employee-participants currently contribute to RetireMint.

How do I estimate my RetireMint paycheck?
Your monthly benefit is calculated using a simple formula based on your final average wage, your employer’s Benefit Accrual Rate, and the number of creditable services years you work.
Final Average Wage
The average of the four highest wage bases among your last ten.
Benefit Accrual Rate
The percentage of your final average wage accrued as determined by your employer.
Creditable Service
Your total month and years of participation in RetireMint.
